Mike I hadn't seen or talked to you in over 20 years. Thankfully you and Lisa reconnected and I was able to hear your voice one more time. I talked to Lisa almost everyday this past year, and was watching your story from afar. I witnessed a love and connection I had never before seen. I'm so happy that you two found each other again. Lisa is the most beautiful and selfless person and she loves you so much! I'm so thankful she was with you every step of this journey, until we meet again...

Mike...I am glad that I was able to bring Niko to see you and we were able to peace with each other and talk. We spent so many years together and even if God had other plans for us..I never stopped caring about you. I was glad that I was able to be there for you one final time when you needed me the most and be there for your family too. You will be missed by so many but I know that you will be watching over everyone along with your mom from heaven.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Mike,
It's been a long time since I have seen you last. We spent a-lot of our childhood together, Indian Grove, River Trails, the time we played hooky from River Trails to go rafting on the DesPlaines river a real Tom Sawyer moment. The thousand trips we walked to Randhurst Mall. We were able to get Chukka Boots banned from Jr High. Seems as we walked everywhere. They are etched into my mind and look back with great fondness.
I am Sorry to hear of your Passing.
Your childhood...
