Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Michael DiSalvo passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. He was the loving husband of Maureen DiSalvo for 60 years and a devoted father of Kathy (Rob) Evans, Steve (Wen) DiSalvo, Pat (Frank) Klein, and Tony (Julia) DiSalvo. He was a proud grandfather of David (Jalisa) Evans, Susan Evans, Angel and Emma Amalia DiSalvo, Caleb and Nathan Klein, and Amanda, Ericka, Jonah, Tony Jr., and Xander DiSalvo.

Mike was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent 44 years at Boeing Aircraft, where he ensured that equipment and assembly timing met the highest standards. He enjoyed playing cards and trivia with longtime friends and family. He was also a fan of Star Trek and loved sharing stories about its characters. Mike had a great sense of humor and was never shy about sharing it.

Mike generously donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.

Services:  Memorial visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 567 St. Joseph Lane, Manchester, Saturday, March 28, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at 12:00 noon in the Parish Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society C/O St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manchester or the American Parkinson Disease Association - Greater St. Louis Chapter.

As a service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

Not sure what to say?

This is Mark Hill of Vincennes. I was Kathy´s first supervisor and long time associate of both Rob & Kathy. It pains me that I can´t attend her father´s service. While I did no know her father personally, I´m fully aware of the beautiful soul that she is in our parish and community and love her dearly. She obviously came to her fruition by having such a loving father. My sincere condolences to the family at this time of sorrow.

Mike has been our friend for over 50 plus years, a marvelous person with a heart of gold and a quiet demeanor and a wonderful sense of humor that made him a joy to be around. We will treasure the many wonderful memories of times shared and miss his presence in our lives. Joanne and Bob

I worked with Mike in the early 2000's. He was a great guy to work with, always pleasant, great sense of humor. We lost touch after we worked together but I remember him well. My condolences to the DiSalvo Family.

Rest in Peace Michael. You served your master well. Dick and Jeane Bacon

My deepest sympathy to the DiSalvo family.

He was a good person and a good friend

I will always remember his unconditional love and support through every moment of my life. I have never known kinder souls than that of my grandparents. Words cannot describe how much I miss him. Thank you for being my grandfather. With love, Angel

Memories - The DiSalvo family were our "across the street" neighbors in Florissant so many years ago. Our children and the DiSalvo children were similar in age. The best of neighbors. I have lovely memories of those times. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mike.

Kathy, so sorry for your loss, prayers for you all. John Manning
