In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Jill
We regret that we cannot be at Mike's funeral as we are in Canada. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Having known Mike since he was with the bank, I can remember the joy he experienced when he joined the fire department. It was second only to the joy he felt in his love for his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mike was a wonderful man on all levels. He will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him personally and professionally.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

With My Deepest Sympathy. My prayers are with you and your family.

Although those left behind will feel a terrible loss...Heaven is rejoicing!

Mike was one of the last few Springfield Firefighters I knew. It was an Honor to know him.

Bill King [former Spfld Twp sta. 58 1978-1988, also former Cols Dispatch Route Manager Clark Co. also King Orchard]
