I was a Camera Assistant from Los Angeles who worked with him on the last two seasons of Ray Donovan. He was so gracious and helpful in my relocating to NY to live and work. He always had a story to be told and a it usually ended with a shared laugh. My condolences go out to his family and close friends.

To the Downy Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Mike was a great guy. We have fond memories of him coaching and always being involved with the kids. Sending big hugs, love and strength to you during this difficult time.

To The Downey Family my Deepest Sympathy James Kelly Sr Mike Was One of A Kind Such A Good Man So Many Great Memories And good times together since our kids played Football Track & Field Girls Varsity Basketball won State Championships Together! He will be Greatly Missed ! RIP My Brother!!

I was so heartbroken to hear of Mike's passing. What a wonderful man he was. He was an amazing role model for my son, Michael Bergman, especially during his wrestling days. My deepest condolences go out to you all.

I am so sadden by this. I met Michael and his Wife and family through school. I put friend because Michael was always very kind to me and was happy to stop and say hello and ask how I've been. He truly cared and he will be missed. I am sorry.
