Michael Allen Drawdy, 63, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, June 15, 2015, at his residence.

The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Allen Drawdy are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 4:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2015, in the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.

Michael Drawdy, affectionately known as ?Mutt? was born on July 9, 1951, in Ft. Pierce, Florida, a son of Leslie Loring ?Red? Drawdy Sr. and Emma Carlile Drawdy. He was a member of Sea Island Baptist Church on Johns Island and was a retired truck driver having worked for David Jones Sea Food and B.W. Mitchum Trucking Co. His favorite saying was, ?I?ve backed a truck up more miles in my life, then you will ever drive forward in yours.? He also was an aspiring police officer even though all of his kids told him he was just an old man. To prove them wrong he recently graduated from Trident Technical College with an Associate?s Degree in Criminal Justice.

He is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Tina Drawdy; his brother, Leslie Drawdy Jr.; his sister, Dallas ?Hoover? Drawdy, both of Florida; his daughters: Eva Drawdy of West Ashley, Heather Craig of Lorida, FL, Christina Butler of Johns Island, Jennifer Butler of Moncks Corner and Brittany Butler of North Charleston and his son, Tony Webster of Summerville. Michael was also blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
