Michael Scott Duhamel

So sorry for your loss. Michael seemed like a very respectful man. I was able to look this up after my Grandmother gave me his info, Ruth Swaney. I was about to head to my first duty station as Security Forces back in 2009 when my grandmother gave me a few stripes and patches from Duhamel's uniform. She explained to me a bit of his story and that Chuck and Ann had given her the items to give to me. Ruth passed away a year ago and I know she would have wanted me to reach out to Michaels family...

We miss you - every day. I often find myself thinking of you and how good it would be to talk with you again. Someday we shall.

Mike... so long ago you were my best friend, my confidant, and for a short time a boyfriend - which we quickly decided was a terrible idea and laughed about it. Going to different high schools separated us, but I have thought of you fondly and often over the years, wondering how you were doing, and what you were doing. Only today did I learn that you were no longer physically with us, but memories of you will always be a cause to smile, as they are all fond.

Ben Lee and I were there that sad day at the dining facility with you. I will never forget you or that day. You were my PRP Monitor and you did so much for us! RIP Duhamel!!

I remember seeing you last in the hallway at PPCC, and am sorry I won't get to catch up with you at our 10 year reunion. I will miss you.
