Not sure what to say?

Every time I hear a Lynyrd Skynyrd I think of you and always say hi, and it puts a smile on my face. Too many memories from when I was just a kid to write about. Thanks for being a big brother. Love you and miss you! Dana

I just found out about Mike's passing & my heart goes out to Becky, the sons & the rest of the family. I was the drummer in Metalisha with Mike & have so many great memories rehearsing, playing gigs & just hanging out. Mike was always fun to be around & I really enjoyed working with him & the rest of the guys on songs. My deepest condolences.

HELL YEAH! T-R-O-U .... B L E! YEAAAAH! I'm so sorry for everyone's loss. He was a great loss to so many people, no doubt! I'm grateful for all the times I did make it out to see them all play. I only wish I would have been able to go more often, they were such a great band and I hope the rest of the band moves on to more endeavors in the future; keep me posted please! Thank you. Remember me always, your little friend .. JuneBUG!!! From one Freebird to another ... I'll see you in...

It was one hell of a ride brother. We will jam again someday. Until then I guess you'll have to settle for Jimi, Stevie and Eddie for guitar players. Hundreds of stages we played and I was proud to stand with you on each one of them. God please give Cherokee's family strength through this difficult time, amen. Until we meet again. RIP my friend.

I have so many great memories of Mike. He was not only a friend, but was a big brother to me growing up. I love you Mike! My heart is broken. My heart goes out to Becky and their children, Grandchildren and to his brothers and and their children. May God Bless you all. Just try to cherish all the wonderful memories that he gave you, because he sure gave me some. R.I.P. My friend. (They want me to pick family or friend below and I want to pick both)

My heartfelt sympathies to Becky and the family. Mike and I grew up together and I have some great memories about the crazy things we did as kids. Him and I were the only 2 left handers out of all the cousins. Say hello to all our family Mike including my mom and dad and brother. I will miss you cuz!!!

Lots and lots of love and prayers. He was one of the good guys. Entertained like no other! It was a true pleasure to have met him and huge loss for everyone. Enjoy heaven Cherokee. Hell Yeah!

Yes, one final Hell Yeah. Hell Yeah!! My condolences to Becky, Mitch, Jeff, Keith and Jimmy and condolences to the rest of the family as well. RIP Cherokee aka Metalisha Mike. See ya later, bye for now

My heart goes out to you Becky and the family. We´ve been gone a lot of years but will always remember his help and friendship at the park.
