Mike joined the Bournemouth Branch of the Norton Owners Club when he first bought his Norton as he thought it would be nice to potter around Dorset with a few other like minded Norton owners, but within weeks we had him attending rallies hundreds of miles away. This seemed to bring the best out in Mike. I'm sure that even those who didn't know Mike personally will remember him having fun at the rallies especially when he did his famous Chair Dance'. Mike, I recall the times you came to my house helped me with my bike and we shared a few stories and a drink together. Always with a smile, always in good form and always at the centre of laughter.
