Mike my old pal. The tears roll down my face as I write. Janey, my apologies for my silence but I still cannot believe he is no longer with us. Too many stories and beers to recall. Remember the days out at Chicago and Kalamazoo! Still got the shirts from the cafe at vicksburgh and Marshall. Ride hard and play the blues loud my man!

Mike joined the Bournemouth Branch of the Norton Owners Club when he first bought his Norton as he thought it would be nice to potter around Dorset with a few other like minded Norton owners, but within weeks we had him attending rallies hundreds of miles away. This seemed to bring the best out in Mike. I'm sure that even those who didn't know Mike personally will remember him having fun at the rallies especially when he did his famous Chair Dance'.
