Michael Gerald Eldridge

Michael Gerald Eldridge ("Wobblehead" to his childhood friends) - age 62, of Owosso passed away March 5, 2016 at his residence.

Mike was born in Owosso, Michigan on February 28, 1954 to Alfred Gerald (Red) Eldridge and Marjorie Mae (Holmes) Eldridge. He was the first of 5 children and spent his early days playing in the woods and fields of his childhood home. He spent many days (and nights) running with friends from the town he loved, the playground where he hit many homers off the school wall, and Rosevear park. He married Jackie Adams on June 19, 1978 and helped raise his three step kids. He enjoyed traveling (lived in NC, CA, TX, and MI), camping, long drives, fishing, hunting, golfing (achieving the hole in one club in Muskegon, MI), spending time with family and friends, and most of all he loved his Detroit Tigers. Mike was always up for a hearty debate on any subject. He loved working at the marina in Muskegon, Michigan where he earned the name "Mudman".

He will be remembered and missed by Jackie Adams and their children; Marti (Tag) Davison, Jodi (Jason) Duffield, Clay (Christy) Spencer; and 13 grandkids; sisters Sandi (Rick) Warren, and Cherie (John) Murphy; brothers Bill Eldridge and Jerry (Sarah) Eldridge; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
