Michael Emmons, 56, of Scotch Plains, died on Monday, March 21, 2016 at his residence. There will be a Visitation at the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ from 6pm-9pm. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 7pm by Father Brian from St. Mary Stony Hill, Watchung.

Michael was born in Plainfield and lived in Scotch Plains. Michael worked for Forte Express Plumbing, Wallington, for 20yrs. Michael was a loyal hard worker. He had a heart of gold. Michael was energetic and always trying to make other lives better. Michael was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Michael is survived by his three sons Peter, Charles, Michael; his daughter Theresa; his brother Sherwood "Woody"; his two sisters Michelle Quiles, Mary Jane Emmons; his four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

I'm sending love and prayers to Michaels family. I think about Michael all the time. He was such a special friend and love in my life for decades. He was to be my forever person but he still is in spirit. I will always love him and I miss seeing that Michael smirk and that gorgeous face. I miss you so much. You brought so much joy to my life. I can only hope that you are now in heaven with misty and max and all the dogs we shared and loved. You were a one if a kind for sure. Mike ,Ray,Paul and I speak and think of you often wishing you were able to still share our lives with us. I'm adopting a new dog named stella today and it's just fitting that I get her today.
