I know you are watching over your amazing children, and that must bring you such pride, joy, and that big smile you were known for. Say hi to your folks.

Mike was a wonderful friend and teammate to me. We shared so many great times and laughs. I always felt very close to him. Still hardly a day, certainly not a week passes without memories of fishing trips, ski trips, hunting trips and business trips with him. I've never really been the same since I heard that we lost him. My heart goes out to Wilow and his kids.

Dear Ems Family, I had the pleasure of working for Mike at HP, I was his assistant. I got to know him very well and always enjoyed the sales meetings we all attended in Boston. I learned a lot from him on a personal and professional level, he talked about his family with such love. What a loss for all of us that knew him. My deepest sympathies.

My Mike
I'd like to share a few memories with you and tell you a little bit more about Mike, my brother, and our family.
Mike's first son Bryan was born two years before my first son. I asked Mike at the time for some advice about what to do when you go to the hospital for the birth. Mike's response – “when you get to the door start screaming for drugs”.
Prior to the birth of one of our children Mike brought me a snack to the delivery room. He and I...

Dear Willow;
You may not remember me. I met you once or twice when I came back and visited family in Denver. I was just searching for old friends to reconnect with this year, and I came across the announcement of Mike's passing. I am so sorry.
I realize as life takes us in different directions, we often loose touch with people that meant so much and were a big part of shaping our lives. Mike was probably my closest friend in High school, and yet we lost touch when we went off to...

I learned of Mike's passing from Glen Cahill in a Christmas letter, and please forgive me for not knowing until now. I met Mike in Jr. High and remained fiends with him through High School. At one point we were going to join the Marines together on the "Buddy System". I joined, he chose not to. Favorite Memory of Mike: We both worked at Ferrels Ice Cream Parlor, and both left for different jobs. One Halloween, when the Ferrel's employees dressed up, he and I dressed up in our old Ferrels...

Columbine 10-Year reunion, Glen, Bret, myself and Mike
Wow, almost a year later I'm just learning about this (shame on me). Mike and I were childhood friends growing up in Columbine Knolls. I spent many a summer hanging with Mike, playing baseball in his backyard, making bug collections, and watching the Apollo moon shots. His laugh is forever etched in my mind. Since moving from Colorado I only saw him at Columbine HS reunions and we rarely connected (pre-facebook), but whenever we got together we recalled those summers and laughed about the...
