Not sure what to say?

Thank you for the very descriptive and detailed history of Mike´s life. You did him right getting all his history out in the open. Truly a great legacy he left behind. Stories like this are what made America the great land of opportunity back then. I was just rehashing old family history with my aunt Judy last weekend whose husband Angel was the previous Casino manager at Circus Circus. Well told.

hi my name is William Cory Penrose I think Mike was my Dad my mom worked in the gaming in the 60s in Reno i was born Nov 1961 her name was
Kay Fritchly she told me about mike when i was 28 im 58 now hear is my contact number 775 852-4616

Michael and Sharon Ensign were like my second parents. I was good friends with John, and spent many weekends up at Tahoe with them. I was struggling with my own folks divorce, and my new step family, and Mike and Sharon, and John, Debbie, and Buddy all gave me a lot of comfort at that time.

R.I.P. guys, you were truly amazing people.

I met Mike Ensign in 1975 when he hired me as a Blackjack Dealer at Circus Circus. I had never dealt Blackjack before, and he knew it, but he kept me on anyway. I didn't let him down. He was a great Boss and a great man.

I worked at his casino in boulder city for a year as a dice dealer from 1999/2000. I never met the man, but everyone spoke highly of him there as they did where I worked at other casinos not affilialted with mandalay bay or the hacienda. His son, david is a generous and good man and wish him and his family goodwill.

Best human being ever, great man we will miss him.sorry for your lost to the family of Mike.

David, John, Bill
My deepest sorrow are with you at this time. May God hold up as you transition into a new way.
