Although we were both from Scarsdale, NY, I knew Michael from summer camp -- Camp Merrimac, summer of ' 64 -- I was the waiter for his table, and we became friends... he was a good kid. Years passed, and I reconnected with him in the early-2000s, on Facebook. I lost touch, again, and only now learned of his recent passing. Michael made Life happen, for him and others.
