It seems like yesterday that this nightmare happened.even though I lost touch, I was a)ways proud to say that I knew him, and was a small part of his early life. He was an amazing young man and still today there is a hole left in his absence. I will never understandexactly why, but I know the world is a better place because he was here. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Mike, though I did not see him very often the last few years. I spent several years with him in Karate and being a larger man myself, Mike and I always ended up together training and sparring. Watching him grow up and mature was a pleasure and I compliment his parents on molding him into the man he was. We found we had several common interests, such as hunting and motorcycles.
