I just learned of Mike's death this past weekend when I was in Philadelphia to participate in a trial advocacy program. I knew Mike had been sick from a partner of his whom I know. I was certainly shocked to learn of Mike's untimely death.
Mike and I were in the St. Peter's College Glee Club, although I was two years' ahead of Mike. As I am sure you knew from Mike, he loved the Glee Club and singing as is obvious from his continuing to do so afterwards with the Orpheus Club.

Michael was a dear freind, a formidible adversary and a wonderful golf partner. He will be terribly missed, but the memories of times together will last forever. Rest well, my friend....

As 'Chairman' of the last two Orpheus Revels, Mike was marvelous! And can only be one of many tributes in his singing and friendship qualities I loved and admired.
