Not sure what to say?

Mike was my cousin; my favorite cousin. We were about the same age, had a "soft spot" for each other, and hung out together on visits. All my growing-up memories of him are happy ones. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

Please accept the condolences of all the instructors in the TWA Training Center who were fortunate enough to know Mike. May God bless you as you go through these difficult and sad days--and may you be comforted in knowing that, as a TWA pilot, Mike was the best of the best.

sorry for your loss

Godspeed Captain Ettel...Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Debra, you have my sympathy. My clearest memories of Mike are from before Becky was married. I just heard from my father of this and had not realized Mike was ill. You have my sincerest wish that you can be fully in each moment for what treasures God has hidden in even the most difficult times.

I am so sorry for your loss. Not only was Mike a complete professional, but truly a joy to fly with. Soft spoken and thoughtful, you always knew that a trip with Mike was going to be a pleasant and interesting experience. One of the best. He will be missed by all.

Maintenant, quelqu'un te parle tout bas,
te dit pleins de choses, à travers des mots sans voix.
Des gestes
invisibles vont vers toi, te caresse et te touche.
Tu sais qui c'est !
au revoir ...

Cal, Annabel, Becky and family, I know this is a difficult time for you. I am so sorry for your loss..and know your good times with Michael are unforgettable and will always be with you. Your son was a wonderful person, and heaven is lucky to have him.

I was so sorry to here of Mikes passing, I was not aware of his illness. I know this is a great loss to his family and friends and my prayers are with them.
