Not sure what to say?

I just found an old yearbook that got me to wondering how Mr Fasciano is doing and was saddened to learn of his passing. He was my 6th grade teacher at St Leo’s in the late 70’s. He was always my favorite teacher. My mother also adored him. Rest peacefully, Mr. Fas!

I just learned of Mike's passing through the VASJ magazine.
"Michael G" and I were best friends from pre-school through the 8th grade at St. Williams.

I taught him how to tie a necktie, which is why he always did it backwards (I am left-handed.)

I have many fond memories of growing up with him on Shoreview Avenue.
He was a great kid. And he grew into a great man.

So sorry for your loss. So glad for a life that touched so many.

Hi Cheri- It has been a long time, however hopefully you remember Bruce and Romy Riebe. You and Mike visited us many years ago in Columbus. For some reason I thought about Mike this evening and looked him up online. I was so shocked and saddened to read about his passing.Mike was the best man in our wedding in 1975. The years have passed so quickly. I hope you and your family are doing as well as possible. God Bless, Bruce

I am very sorry to hear Mike's passing. Prayers to your family. Mr. Faz was a great person.

Cheri, so sorry for your loss. Will be keeping the family and Mike in my prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Fasciano and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned about it today or I would have come to honor him. I am sure you know how adored, loved, and respected Mr. Fasciano was. One of the traits that burned most brightly in him was his kindness. He was firm, fair, and always kind. He stood up for what he believed in and fought for the children's futures and his community's well being. He was and always will be one of my favorite principals. His loss will be felt in all. I...

So sad to see the sign at St. Leo. Mike was principal at St. Leo when my daughter attended there and I worked in the PSR program. I'd see Mike at Mass and fish fries at St. Columbkille. He was a true gentleman. So sorry for your loss. Roberta Dloniak
