I just discovered this obituary. Michael was truly a lovely man, and critically supportive of me when my husband died suddenly. I am so sorry to read this, and my condolences to all his family.

Mike and I were fraternity brothers at Dartmouth, and very good friends. He was my "big brother" at Pi Lambda Phi, as he was a year ahead of me and was, in effect, my mentor. Throughout our succeeding years, we kept in touch, as friends, fraternity brothers and fellow attorneys. I am most saddened by his passing, and extend my sympathies to his friends and family. To Kevin and all the Fay Families I offer my deepest condolence on the sudden passing of Michael. We were childhood friends who grew up together in Indian Orchard and St. Matthew's Parish. He was a good and a decent person with a wonderful personality. His life was a credit to his caring and guiding parents, Marie and Joe Fay. Know that a distant friend shares in the sorrow of this sudden passing and is compelled to pause and reflect on a truly good man. May God grant him eternal...
