Our family has known Mike's family for years, beginning with the deep and life long friendship Mike's parents Tom and Lucille had with our parents, Joe and Theresa Byrne. I grew up with the Feeney clan, and Mike and I went to St. Cecilia's and then to St. Ignatius together. As kids, we spent summers as quasi-guests of Stanford University and all of us, Coyne's, Portman's, McCarthy's, Conway's and others formed lifelong friendships. While we didn't see one another for years at a time, when we did, it seemed like only yesterday. Mike, you will be truly missed by all.
