Michael Lester Fenn

Mr. Michael Lester Fenn, 43, of LaGrange passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005, at his home. Mr. Fenn was born December 11, 1961 in LaGrange, son of William Lester and Annette Horne Fenn. Mike was a loving husband and father. Mr. Fenn had lived here all of his life and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was the manager of Dixie Auto Parts in Columbus.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 15 years, Angie Shelnutt Fenn; daughters, Amber Louise Fenn, Melissa Ann Fenn, Emily Kate Fenn, Macy Leigh Fenn; a son, Billy Michael Fenn; twin brother, Mark William Fenn; brother and sister-in-law, Steven Talmage and Amy Fenn all of LaGrange; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Bob Meadows of Cartersville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Danny and Vicki Shelnutt of LaGrange; Bobby and Judy Shelnutt of Hapeville; Timmy and Kristie Shelnutt of Newnan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Fred Cox of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Talmage and Vela Mae Horne.

The funeral service for Mr. Michael Lester Fenn will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday from the Unity Baptist Church Rev. Bobby Robinson and Rev. Mark Eichelberger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview East Cemetery. Mr. Fenn will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 until the funeral hour. The family will be at his home at 1577 Young’s Mill Road, and will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 until 9:00. Flowers will be accepted, or those desiring may contribute to the Unity Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mr. Fenn.
