Not sure what to say?

I knew Mike at Penn State. Today, I tried to catch up with Mike through google searching for him; I cannot believe his obituary is what I found.

Michael is one of my most vivid Penn State memories, always meeting me for a late hour drink, or just calling me in the newsroom to shoot the breeze. Now that I think back, I'll bet he was looking for a news scoop! I even made reference to him in my farewell Collegian editorial. I will forever appreciate him for always appreciating me,...

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. Your family is in my prayers. If you need anything, please call me.

Dear Joe And Anne grief can be so hard, but memories help us cope. I remember Mike as a kind and friendly person when we went to migrant camp, you both will be in my prayers. God Bless Edna Banks and family

To Lizzy and Mikes family, our prayers and thoughts are with you. We got to know Mike and Lizzy through shooting trap at the Shippensburg Fish and Game, we were all looking forward to Mike shooting on our team this coming summer. Mike fit right in and brought an excitement with a great attitude. Mike always had a smile on his face and you could tell his love for Lizzy, as she was always there by his side. You will be missed Mike, by the trap team as a member and more importantly as a...

I am still in shock of this news. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers goes out to your family and friends.

My thoughts and prayes go out to Mike's family and Lizzy and her family. He touched many lives including mine. He shared his love and variety of music with me and my family. He shared his recipes and his love of good food. He always had a good tip or idea for any problem you came across. He was smart, funny, and kind. I am greatful to have known him and I'm greatful to have seen the love that him and Lizzy shared, as it was pure and strong.

My most heartfelt and deepest sympathy to Michael's family and friends.

To Lizzy and Michael's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know Michael at our family functions this past year. His love of Lizzy was so evident in his actions. My heart just breaks for all of you.
Lizzy's Cousin Kim and Family

A truly special man has left this earth but not my heart. You will be missed my friend. You had a big heart and a smile to match. I will never forget the daily talks we had at work. From guns to music to hunting to hockey, your knowledge of everything was astounding. I believe you had a recipe for just about anything. My garden will forever be plentiful from the tips you gave me. My prayers go out to your family which I know you loved very much. He always talked of his trips to Pittsburgh and...
