Not sure what to say?

I met Michael and his late wife, Pat, while employed at Springfield Teacher's Credit Union. They both would come into my office for Notary services. I found them to be friendly, witty, and wonderfuly people. We became good friends. Mike and Pat used to stop by for coffee when they lived at the Atrium, just off of Suffield Street. I visited them at their apartment, which was near my home, several times. Michael once showed and read to me several poems he had written, which were lovely. ...

I attended Liberty Elementary School from K-6th grade (1967-74) and remember Mr. Florentino as a great principle and very cool guy in general.

To the Family of Michael Fioretti: I had the pleasure and honor of meeting both Michael and Pat at the credit union, where I'm employed. I visited them several times at Quail Run and Michael at East Village on a couple of occasions. I was away on vacation at the Cape when Michael passed away. I just learned of his passing today and wish I could have visited him one last time. We shared stories about the South End in Springfield and how it was back in the 1960's, when I was a teenager. ...

Browsing through the obituaries I ran across the name Fioretti and immediately wondered if this was the Mr. Fioretti that I worked for/with in the mid 70's and to my sorrow as I read along, I find that it is the Mr. Fioretti that I got to know and love. I never forgot this kind and gentleman I had the pleasure to work with. The day I went in for my interview I remember being so nervous, and him telling me to relax..it's just a job he says and shook my hand and told me to come back monday...

My deepest condolences to your family. Mike was my principal at Liberty School many years ago- and I was recently reunited with him at Quail Run where my mother resides. We had many nice conversations whenever I would run into him there-and although I am in my mid 50s- he still remembered who I was. I will always remember him fondly as a great and gentle man who truly loved and worked so well with children. I will never forget him,
I am sorry for your loss- and also for the loss of your...

My dad worked with mike at liberty school for many years. I remember mike growing up while he was at liberty school and the card games at my house with my dad. he was a kind and caring principal who loved his job, students, and staff deeply.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I was a little kid at Liberty School and now am in my mid 50s but I remember Mr. Fioretti very fondly. He was a nice man and loved being around kids. My prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow. He was a good man and I will remember him for the rest of my life

Deepest sympathies from the Garneau family. You are in our prayers.
