Two things I remember about Mike Flahiff: he adored his family and he made the best gin and tonic in town!

Just heard from cousin Mike Guichon to learn of Michael's death. Your Dad and Mother were the most beautiful couple, a highlight of Immaculate Parish. Both Families were so highly thought of in Vancouver. You boys were full of boundless energy...NORMAL!! Will check in on Mike for addresses for the good old S.J card.

I have such wonderful memories of Mike and Mary Agnes - they were great friends of our parents Ingrid and Warren McWilliams in Victoria and they were always the life of many a party at our home. Dad and Mike both worked for the Guardian and their friendship was long and deep.

I was privileged to know Mike, and his lovely wife Mary Agnes, during my years with the Guardian-Caledonian Insurance Company. and while we regretfully lost contact after I left, I still retain many fond memories of times spent together. And yes, I do remember his four sons in their early years, and what a devoted father he was. To his family, I extend my deepest sympathy on their loss.
