Sister Michael Marie Flannery RSM

God's speed sister. The world needs more individuals like yourself. RIP.

Sister Michael Marie hired me as a nursing assistant in the newborn nursery when I was a high school junior. I am forever grateful for the years I worked for her at St John's Mercy and the privilege to be part of the best OB-GYN team ever! 1968-1974 and then returning 1984-1990 as an RN. (I always asked to work a Christmas shift just to put the babies in the stockings she made.) I am sad to read of her death.

My Aunt Sister Mary Charity Grace was at the Medical Center with Sr. Micheal Marie. My mother and I would visit with SR. Micheal Marie when ever we came in from California. She always had everything running smoothly. Glad i got to visit with her on my last trip back last nov. Another great Mercy sister that will be missed.

Sister Michael Marie hired me as a Labor & Delivery Nurse in 1981, I learned so much from her example, she was always there when we needed her, including in the middle of the night! Thank you for sharing your expertise with us!

My Aunt Sis. She helped so many people. She truly lead a life of giving and will be missed

Thank the Lord for your service to my family 47 years ago, as you attended the birth of our son Adam, and blessed our hospital stay in our time of need.
