Not sure what to say?

Mike and I were friends at USL in the early '70's. A really good guy. My prayers go out to his wife and family.

Al Bergeron

I'm saddened to hear of the loss of Mike. He was a fantastic person. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.

Shock and sadness about Mike. The nicest and most generous Landman I have ever known. Janet and I will miss him greatly. Deepest sympathies to Connie. Jim and Janet Hughart.

I started in the oil and gas industry twenty years ago. I started with PFM in Athens, Texas. When he started OGM, I also went with him, I was a secretary for one of the offices for five years. I remember Mike's booming laughter and also his booming "let me have your attention". He always had a kind word for me. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

I only knew Mike through Connie and, unfortunately, lost touch with Connie many years ago. Mike had such a gentle personality as did Connie making a perfect match for each other. My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Connie and Mike's family.

Butterfly on Zinnia at Burton Ranch

I helped Mike and Connie manage the wildlife easement "ranch" in Burton, TX from 2009-2011. It was a beautiful, magical place under their care...the homes, the landscapes and the wildscapes all had TLC. To create beauty and foster nature, as they did on that land, is a high calling. They went on to repeat this in Virginia.

They were so generous to Animal Friends, Connie Clinic and the Texas A&M Veterinary Research Clinic. We all have such fond memories of the "pajama parties" and other...

I had a great time working with Mike. He had the best smile and droll sense of humor.

My thoughts are with you, Connie.

I remember Mike as an 8 year old playmate of mine. Later he introduced me to my 1st husband. I lost track of he and Connie around 1989 or so. What a character he was, always bringing life to the situation. He was a larger than life type of guy.

Rest in peace, Michael.

Mike was a Dear friend to Don and me. He touched the lives of our Sons, and the lives of so many people,
and Animals. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
