Mike was a unique individual. He helped me with my baseball swing in the hall of the MAC. And we talked about dreams and psychology. I remember it like it was yesterday and it actually was 24 years ago. I moved out of town and we lost touch. What a caring guy. My heart goes out to his family.

To Michael's family- You never met us, Michael helped us finance our house. We were young first time buyers and Michael took his time to explain the entire process. We truly appreciated his patience when we asked him a million questions. He was the first person we invited over for dinner at our new home. Our sincere deepest condolences. You will be in our prayers.

Bill and I were so sad to hear about Mike's passing. Unfortunately we didn't hear until after the service. I still remember how thrilled and proud he was to put his arm around your shoulder and announce at RCIA that the two of you had gotten married! All of our lives have been touched by knowing him and our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and his entire family during this difficult time.

I think Mike touched more lives than most of us will ever know. I'd never known him to be so happy as when Betty, and later Will, came into his life. My heart and prayers are with you all.

I met Mike when he and Betty came to Winnemucca to meet their future son, Willy. My family fell in love with Mike and Betty instantly. I recall them asking if they could adopt all of us. What a caring, courageous man he was. My prayers go out to Betty and Willy today as my heart is heavy for you all. God bless you Mike for all you have done. May you rest in peace and fly with the angels. I will never forget you.
