Not sure what to say?

Mike was just the greatest kid. We went to Covert together. I always enjoyed coming over to play at his house with the HUGE backyard. Mike had a big heart and was better at hockey than anyone had a right to be at that young age. Rest peacefully. You are missed.

I am overwhelmed with grief to hear of Michael's passing. I babysat for him from when he was 3 months to almost 4 years old. He was my "FIRST" Michael (....my eldest son is named Michael also). I have fond memories of him as a child.
(Barbara or Larry- Please contact me on email.)
Love,
Kathy (Holst)

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Barbara, Larry and Bridget on the loss of Michael. We lived across the street in S. Hempstead for 9 years and we remember dearly his sweet face. We have many memories of fun times together and will remember him in our prayers as well as the family he left behind.
The Corey's

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of living across the street from the Flynn's in South Hempstead. Michael & I were friends even before we went to Covert school together. I share many fond memories of growing up on Willow Street with Michael and Bridget and will always remember what fun we had. He will be missed dearly and I will be praying for his family.

I had the honor of knowing Mike in our younger years while he and I played ice hockey for Green Machine Hockey of Long Island. Mike, John DeLuca and I were the smallest players on our team, our line was known as the Smurf line. It always seemed like we were playing against kids our age but the size of NHL players.
Our parents also belonged to the same beach club, so we spent alot of time together for many years but lost touch in High School.
I remember Mike being indomitable,...

I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was always so sweet and nice, a person you knew you could count on.
