Michael Henry Forrer

Michael H. Forrer, 57, passed away February 25, 2010. He was a native of Madison WI and is the son of Marion (Vangsness) Forrer and the late William Forrer. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam and a Federal Firefighter. He was also owner of Do-More Construction. Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary F. Forrer; and one daughter, Brianna. He is also survived by two sisters, Shelia (James) Pink, and Mary Ann (Craig) Armstrong; three brothers, Stephen (Tara) Forrer, Mark (Mary) Forrer, and Joseph (Lorraine) Forrer. Mike is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Andrew; and his sister, Jeanne Halverson. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Family by Fr. Joseph Slattery. Burial will be private. A wake service will be held at the Church on Sunday at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends at the Church Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel.
