I heart u dad

Son, you will never be forgotten. We had our ups and downs, but what a great person you were. Such a help to Marvin and I. You were a great cook, Pro. driver and Football scout. Too bad the pro's didn't know that! You are in my heart and that is where you will stay till we meet again in Haven. We loved you dearly and you left us too soon for sure. I would never want you to suffer the way that you did. The Cancer was so bad, and I did my very best for you. Love you Michael, Momma and...

I knew Mike growing up, we became good friends. He left us way to soon. He will never be forgotten, he always loved making other people laugh. Love you bro, you'll always be in my heart and my mind.RIP

Fortson Family,
It is never easy to lose a loved one. This is such a tragedy to lose someone so young. Words cannot express my sorrow for you and your family. Let your faith in God give you peace. Be still and quiet and open up your heart, Michael's presence is with you and always will be. He is your Angel , the heavens are rejoicing ,he is free. God Bless You, until you see him again. Our prayers are with you,
Todd and Jayne Gilbert

I grew up in the neighborhood with the Fortson family and knew Scotty, Treva, Sandy and Tommy, also their parents. Our sincere heartfelt sympathy goes out to Scotty and Joanne's children and familes. May Mike forever rest in peace in the arms of his Savior.
