Not sure what to say?

Mike was such a great guy who dealt with adversity with such a positive attitude and had such a strong impact on other people he met along his journey. He will be deeply missed.

Micheal you led a life of integrity, courage, compassion and good humor.

Great memories of those early years of youth and your love of life..(ie. riding a Kawasaki 175 from Ohio to Oregon?!)..
and that passion stayed with you throughout your life.

Micheal you inspired me with your irrepressible spirit, your courage, your
your compassion and concern for others,
and that endearing dry wit. You will always be remembered fondly with love by all of us lucky...

Thank you for your inspiration, generosity, indomitable spirit and great humor. One of a kind. Jamey Hampton

Meg,
I just saw Mike's obituary you sent out, this email never got sent....

Thank you so very very much for sending this. I don't know who wrote it but they did an amazing job capturing Mike's essence and joie de vivre. I was so grateful to have spent time with him in the 2000's going to a few events when I was in town.
Agree with our last few decades, enjoy our friendships!

My condolences to the Foster family and his legion of friends and acquaintances. I feel so fortunate to have known you back in your Western College days - long live the Brain Police Miami intramural basketball team we played on. I wish I could have stayed in closer touch than our once a year conversations + the time I came out and brother Kevin took us to the Duck football game. I can safely say I never knew anyone like you, with your unbelievable spirit. I'll always treasure that 1973-74...

Always in my heart. My one true love....

To the Fosters and Chappells: I am so sorry that you lost your brother. He was a great person and handled the problems of being paralyzed amazingly well. He was so positive and will always be in my heart. I will never forget playing boogeyman in your backyard with Mike and most of you. Love, Gail Bowden Wade.

Mike was always a positive, can-do role model for our office at North Pacific. Fare winds and calm seas my friend and God bless you!

What a lovely tribute to Mike, an inspiration to us all! Living in Taos, I appreciated the line: He reached out to family and friends who had drifted away and reeled them back into the fold. I felt that and, to that end, I will surely come out July 7 to celebrate his life.
May you rest in deepest peace, dear Mike...
