Michael was a rider's rider. I've bumped into him
occasionally for some 30 years, always on an interesting machine with an interesting story to tell. He was one of these guys who was on a pedestal to us average motorcyclists. The community has lost one of the greats. He will be missed and thought of often.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Michael at Thunder Ridge. Although I knew him briefly, his presence, as he strode out confidently onto the snow, made me smile.
I loved speaking with him - he was so even-keeled, but the sparkle in his eye shone when he was talking about his bikes.
My sincerest condolences. I'm very sorry to hear this news, but very fortunate to have known him.

Karla and Alice, our hearts , thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of Michael. We only wish that we could be there with you for support during this difficult time. This terrible virus takes away even the ability to grieve normally surrounded by friends and family, to have the closure you need and to be able to celebrate a life well lived. Michael is in a better place looking down on both of you.
Love, Bruce and Christine
