Michael Funk

I was very lucky to have him as my neighbor for 12 years. He'd be sitting in his chair, reading the newspaper, I'd greet him with a "Howdy, Neighbor" and he'd jump up in surprise with a greeting I can't put in print. In turn, he'd try to scare me when I was working in the yard. He always was looking out for me and I greatly appreciated that and his friendship. He will be dearly missed....take care, Neighbor...

I am saddened and will miss seeing Michael at shows. We were not more than two people that were aware of each other and how we fit into the industry, but he always had a welcome smile and a few kind words each time we met. I always looked forward to bumping into him.

Great memories with my college roommate and best man at my wedding. Trips on our Hondas, riding in Darien, his ford thunderbird, the "funk and toe team" at NIU, not changing oil in his Gallo company car for 100,000 miles, his new start with Patty. Too many to remember and he left us too early! We will miss him and cherish the memories.
