Read MoreMissing Mike everyday. This past year can be best described as quiet. Mike´s presence was always felt, regardless of the distance between us. It´s very quiet now. The missing is ever present and time has not healed as it usually does but I am grateful for the gifts Mike gave to all of us. Music, art, sports, intellect and humor. The collection of memories is immense.

I will miss my brother, Mike, everyday. He had such a presence in our lives and this void we are feeling now is indescribable. He was an awesome guy and so influential. He influenced my love of music and art. His quick wit and humor and his storytelling were the highlight of our family events. He never disappointed. The banter between him and Joe, Kerry and Bruce often resulted in side-splitting laughter to the point of tears.
I can’t really imagine my life without him here.
