Michael Theodore Gaechter

Mike was my mentor in the billboard business back in the early 80's. My success I own to him. He was a very good businessman and he was a blessing to have as a partner in the old days. We had some great laughs and some tough talks, both of which I will never forget. I was really lucky to learn from the best. I was always hoping he and I would have the chance to visit again someday but it was not to be. He will be missed by this billboard guy.

I never had the pleasure of an acquaintance with Mike, but I was present at the Cotton Bowl for every home game in which he played for the Cowboys during his career, and I can recall no one who demonstrated more heart on the field. I wish him eternal peace, and for his family and loved ones profound sympathy during this hour of their grief.

Mike was a delight to know. Always a smile on his face. He will be missed by all.
