Michael Paul Garcia

Michael Paul Garcia, age 15, of Yorkville, passed away December 4, 2010, at his home, in his sleep. He was born April 15, 1995, in Big Spring, TX, a son of Jason and Marsha Garcia. He was a student in the Whitesboro Central School District. Michael's interests and hobbies include movies, television and especially video games, spending time with his family and anime. He is survived by his parents, Jason and Marsha; his brother, Dustin; and his sister, Amberly. Michael is also survived by other brave kids like him, who battle Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy everyday. The family would like to thank Dr. Bem, Dr. Ragasta, Dr. Cherrick, and Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse. Michael's family will receive callers on Tuesday, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, Forty Main Street, Whitesboro. Friends are encouraged to wear blue, Michael's favorite color.
