He was a tremendous role model to me when I was a very young teenager. He took me under his wing and taught me how to dive the shipwrecks of NJ when I was only 13 and 14 yrs old. He was patient, kind humble and was a huge inspiration for me to continue to dive about every week for the last 45 years. I often look back and think how nice he was to drive from NJ to my house in Easton to pick up some gangly teenager at 4:30 in the morning and then drive me to the shore and back all in one...
