I first heard about this gentleman from a couple of Facebook communities, then I was able to see the memorial in the Harrisburg neighborhood. I hope I did him honor by including this memorial in my art piece on roadside memorials.

I heard about this fine young man years ago from his mother. We bought insurance and she was the brilliant mom that loved him so and told me about him. I can now see why he was such a great person and why so many people loved him. I too thought so much of his mother just knowing she was such a loving mother and cared so much about him. I only knew Michale by the stories his mother would share. I am glad she didn't see the tragic way his life ended. She would have never been the same.
