Karen, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Michael and David. I always enjoyed Mike's companionship and laughter over the years. If anything, his thoughtfulness and caring were one of his greatest attributes. I respected him for all that he did to help others. May God bless the Gerber family during this tragic time. I am happy to say that I worked with him and knew him as a fine gentle man and friend.

I remember:
*Stringham hollering at us for messing around in the middle of a game
*Cella hollering at us for messing around in the middle of a game
*A black 66 vet with a pearl knob shifter
*Glasses thrown at the ceiling in our apartment
*Driving you home from the hospital in a green mg with no clutch
*Driving to Wildwood in a blue Chevelle SS that would over heat if we idled to long
*A lot of cars and a lot of jobs.
I'll miss you my friend.

Although I have not seen my cousin Michael in many years, I remember him as being a handsome man with an affable personality and great sense of humor. We also shared a mutual love of sports cars. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are so sorry for your loss, it comes as such a shock. We will always remember with fondness our time with Mike in the Cobra baseball family. Danny especially respected and bonded with Mike. Mike's kindness will stay with us forever in everything he did for us, his coaching, his help with Danny's science project, and his friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Eric and I are deeply with Karen, Michael and David in their intense grief over Mike's passing. We know that his strength and high character will live on in his wife and sons. We are also confident that he is now presiding over the most winning baseball team that heaven has ever seen, and that he will do so with great class - just as he did everything in life - unto eternity.

It was a great honor to care for Mike during his battle with cancer. He was a fighter and Karen always right beside him. He never had it easy since his diagnosis, but he took all his hardship with such grace and spirit. I wish I cared for more people like you. God bless your soul Mike. You are dearly missed.
