I am so very sorry to hear of Mikes passing. When I was down and "on my last leg in life", I found Mike. He took me in and I became his shadow for a few years, until I became whole again and moved to South Carolina. He did this for no reason other than he was a kind, generous and caring person. He became my true friend and mentor and taught me what a real and great restaurateur was like. My deepest condolences to Judy and all his children. I will really miss the big guy!

Judy, we just received notice of Mike´s passing and so I am sorry I could not make the calling hours. I met Mike when we both worked at The Galleries many years ago. He provided me and my coworkers with many delicious lunches. He knew my son, Scott very well and catered many events for him and when it came time for my 60th birthday and 20th wedding anniversary my children hired Mike to cater the affair. He wasmsuch a kind, cheerful man and I so enjoyed talking to him. I am so sorry for your loss.
