I remember enjoying a nice cigar with a glass of port on the upper deck.

Ah, Michael we do indeed remember you....so often you came out of the kitchen to greet and talk and we so enjoyed it. So much has happened since you unexpectedly left us, but The Depot Hotel is doing a great job in my opinion in servicing people/patrons in trying times. You would be so proud of Gia and Antonio and I do hope you are hovering above watching all of us.

I enjoyed smoking cigars and sipping a great glass of port with Mike on his upper deck.
I will always miss him and wish the best for all his family and friends.

I still cherish to memories and photos of the 2008 trip to Chile and Argentina with Michael. A wonder expert on wine, food and travel.

Took a backseat to no one as a Chef and more importantly as a person.We were married at the Depot Hotel because of Michael's talents.

I ran into Michael a few years back at a grocery store in Lakeport and just seeing him and exchanging hellos made my day.I'll always think fondly of my Wednesday's with him as a vendor.My favorite saying of his was, "What the hell do I know,I'm just a dumb cook!"My best to Gia and the family.God Bless you Michael.

Gia,I am sorry to hear of the passing of Michael. I spoke to Robert yesterday and he told me of the passing of Michael. I remember the days when we would go up to the lots and spend time with your parents. Wonderful days. You are blessed with such a wonderful family.

Truly a shock! Michael was the reason I spent the majority of my working career in the kitchen. I started as his dishwasher when he and Gia bought the depot.

This news was such a shock. I will always think of you Michael when I'm sauteing mushrooms and I'm tempted to stir them before the juices are sealed in. Thank you for many wonderful cooking class dinners. Gia, I am at a loss for words, please know you are in my thoughts.
