I just learned of Mike's passing. I have known Mike since I moved to Charlotte in 1994. Our paths crossed frequently working in the same building and later at the court house. Mike and I had cases together and I knew him as an exceptional, well respected lawyer who was always a man of his word. The Charlotte legal community has a void with his passing. I was saddened to hear of Mikes passing today. We worked several files together before I retired. I considered Mike a friend, a man of integrity, and an excellent lawyer. I will keep his family in my prayers.

I am completely heartbroken for the family and friends of Mike Gibson. We truly lost a great man, husband, father and friend. I was blessed to have worked with Mike for almost 8 years and consider him one of my best friends. Heaven has received one of our best. Keeping Mott, Jon and David in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
