Michael J. Gleba, Sr., passed away tragically on April 11, 2019 at age 56. Loving husband of Kiki, devoted father of Kristen Venziale (Jeffrey), Jennifer Gress, Nicole Gleba, Michael Gleba Jr., and Nicholas Gleba. Proud Pop Pop of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving and caring son of Catherine and the late Walter Gleba. Dear brother of Steven (Tom) and Paul (Christine). Dear uncle of Tiffany, Lauren, Mallory, Brittany, Jonathan, and nephew of Richard Colombo (Lynn) and Joseph (Arlene). "Mike G" was most well known for being a kind, selfless, caring, hardworking man of the community. Wissinoming born and raised, he was proud to spend his lifetime as an honest and loyal man taking care of each and every customer at Tom Craig's Goodyear, Mike G's Auto Repair, and the last 17 years as owner of Northeast Speedometer. Mike was most proud of his family whom he loved fully and unconditionally. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, customers and by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday evening 6 PM to 8 PM and Wednesday 9 AM to 10:30 AM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations located at 6126 Torresdale Avenue (valet parking on premises). Funeral Mass Wednesday 11 AM in St. Bartholomew's Church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Mike was a super kind
gentleman. When my daughter moved to Edmund he helped with her auto at a very difficult time. My daughter has been highly affected by his tragic demise. I pray for his gentle soul to RIP. Praying for the entire family.

Condolences to the Gleba family. My husband worked side by side with Mike for years at Tom Craigs Goodyear. Your dad/pop-pop was loved by many. We wish you peace during this difficult time.

The one word that comes to mind when I think of Mike G. is loyal. He was loyal to his family, his friends, his business and his neighborhood. He meant so much to so many people and we are all better for knowing him. The world lost a great man. RIP Mike.

I didn't know him personal but my aunt and father grew up at at 4817 benner than my aunt continued to live there for many years and talked to him a daily basis. And my daughter has been taking her car there for the past 2 years. Both have spoke of him highly. I pray he is resting easy and continues to watch over yiu all

To the Gleba Kids- I have many fond memories of Mike, growing up, hanging out and vacationing in Ocean City, MD. During one of those vacations, I needed Mike and your uncle Ed, to remember a phone number. I cant remember now what is was for, but this was before cell phones. And paper and pen werent going work either since they both were in the pool at the time. Neither one could remember all 7 digits. I had to give Ed, the first 3 numbers of the phone number, and Mike, the last 4 numbers....

I got to meet mike when I moved to keystone st then as I moved to keystone st I needed a new mechanic people suggested him I gave him a shot as soon as he opened northeast speedometer quickly becoming friends with him we use to talk about hunting and fishing we always had some good jokes together even after I got new vehicles I would stop in to talk with mike really am going to miss our talks

I knew Mike since grade school, lived at Tulip and Comly right around the corner from each other, used to hang out in his cellar and listen to albums, think that's where we first heard KISS, lol there were a few of us including my two brothers, we hung out for a good 15-20 years first at B&T and then in someone's apartment, had a couple beers together and a whole lot of laughs and good times, he always helped anyone. He will not be forgotten,should not have happened to such a good man and...
