Michael was the first principal I worked under when New North School opened. He was such a kind, supportive principal to staff and students. May G-d comfort Theo and Heidi and family.

My earliest memories of Uncle Mikey were when he had a military buzz cut. Once, he took us in his blue convertible on an errand and I jumped from the back seat to the front, accidentally hitting the shift. The car rolled backward and luckily did not hit anything. Of course he noticed, but did not yell at us. Ever the fabulous teacher of children, he knew how to make a point without criticism. One summer, the kids in the neighborhood joined us in a small above ground pool and we jumped...

So very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Mike when he was assistant principal at New North Community School. I remember him to be a kind and fun loving person. May he rest in peace.

Theo- I´m so very sorry for your loss. I remember you both fondly. You and I worked together at Talmadge, and Mike was our travel agent for our honeymoon. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
