Cheryl I feel so bad for you and your family to lose your brother at such an early age to a hideous disease. I know how much you loved Michael and worried about his health. I hope in time the pain will lesson for you all.

I wish that I could be in Chicago to tell you my last goodbye. I saw you all the time when I was younger and when we lived back in Illinois, and as I got older I was lucky to see you at least once when we would visit. I am going to miss you so much, Uncle Mike. You always made me laugh and you were such a kind and genuine man. You have been a great brother and I know my Dad is going to miss his younger brother so much. My Uncle Mike was such a kind, wonderful, and funny person. I cannot remember a time where I was not laughing in his presence. Some of my most cherished memories with him involve going to get Chicago hot dogs. He is gone too soon and there is no doubt he will be missed. <3
