I am grateful to have enjoyed the friendship of Mike Golden. Our acquaintance is rooted in athletic and social participation in organized tennis leagues and tournaments. Mike was a solid teammate for several years on the USTA league team that I captained and he was also a competitive - and friendly - opponent occasionally in Tennis Association of Greater Spokane (TAGS) matches.
