Not sure what to say?

I used to go Meadowbrook pool all the time. Michael was always a treat, BTW, He was always the best part of our swimming. At some point, probably 1976 or 1977, I was in the waiting room for Doctor Prine and he was there waiting and I noticed him. I was enthralled! It was like meeting a rock star at a grocery store. My mother noticed that I was being enthusiastic and asked me what was going on... I told her that he was my SUPER CRUSH, but I almost didn't recognize him..... because he "had...

My disability has kept me isolated the last few years, and I just now learned of Mike's passing. I extend my condolences to Jane, David, and all his family and friends. I am so very sorry that he is gone. He had a warm and generous heart and was kind to everyone he met. May he rest peacefully in Jesus' loving arms.

I am so saddened to hear of Mike's death. But am lucky to have so many happy memories: The 1960s when Rita and Bob (my parents) would load the car with kids and drive from Illinois to Knoxville, TN for Easter vacation. Weekends at grandma Conner's house during grade school and Jr. High. Mike attending my H.S. graduation. Trips to McAllen and College Station. Each memory makes me smile and laugh. What a great guy to have for a cousin. My condolences to Jane, David, Machelle, John and...

Mike was a great human being. Always friendly. He will be missed. I'm sorry that he suffered through such an awful disease but now he is at peace.

Mike Goodenough is a true example of a man who lived his life well. He was a faithful worker in his church, St. Rita Catholic Church. He was devoted to his wife, Jane and their son David. He was a faithful friend to many people. Mike will be missed but not forgotten. Memories will be long lasting. I will miss his beautiful smile.

Graces for family and friends.

We have too many beautiful memories to begin to list and they will all bring tears. Love you and will see you on Thursday. Fletcher and Charlotte
