Michael Gormley Obituary - Death Notice and Service Information

Gormley, Michael Kevin age 47, of Carmel, IN, died May 12, 2006, after a courageous two year battle with leukemia. Mike was a graduate of Golden Valley High School, the College of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Mary K. Gormley, and an infant brother, Peter. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sara; children, Emma and Benjamin; brothers, Timothy, Dan, Sean, and Terry Gormley; and sisters, Peg Coniglio and Maureen Gormley. Funeral services were held on May 17 in Carmel, IN. A memorial service for family & friends will be held Saturday, July 29 at 11 AM in Steiner Hall at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Wellesley Ave., St. Paul, MN.

I was so sad to hear of Mike's passing. It seems impossible that he is no longer here. Although I haven't seen him for many years, I think about him from time to time as I pass his parents previous home where he grew up when I visit my own parents in Golden Valley.
