I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.

Kelly, Aunt Leona, Uncle Ron and family, I wish to express my sympathy to all of you on the loss of Mike. It is a sad thing when we allow life to change our relationship with our family. I will always remember and miss Mike.

Kelly,Aunt Leona,Uncle Ron and family members....May God be with you and give you peace. We will all miss Mike....but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Sorry we can't be with you at this time....Tony and I will be praying for you in the days ahead....Paulette and Tony

Kelly,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you probably don't know me but I was Tam Payne's wife. I know you are going through some really tough times right now because I lost Tam last Aug. I had only seen Mike a few times at the family reunions but to me he was a great guitar player and I will always remember him playing "Tennessee Flat Top Box".

Kelly, Ron, Leona and family,

Mike was my nephew for ten years while Merlin and I were married. Through the years, all the neices and nephews continued to call us Aunt Connie and Uncle Gar. Those names made us a part of the family. Even though we were tecniqually not "Aunt and Uncle" it meant a lot to us that we had Mike's and the rest of the families respect. We are saddened with the passing of Mike. Our condolences are with all of you.

Kelly, Kids, Aunt Leona and Uncle Ron,

We (Merlin's kids) kind of lost track of our cousins on this side of the family once Dad and Mom divorced. I was so happy once the Payne family reunions started so that we got to meet and know our cousins once again. I do have a few memories of being at Aunt Leona and Uncle Ron's when mom and dad were still married. The thing I remeber most was Aunt Leona finding the rattle snake in the refrigerator. I don't remember her reaction but as a...

Your courage, grace and dignity will be remembered Mike.
