Family is wonderful and family is dear and I am so fortunante to have been part of Uncle Mike's family thru marriage to Aunt Virginia. I do remember going over to their house and one thing that always struck me was Uncle Mike's smiling face. Over the years we have always stayed in contract with our annual Christmas cards and notes. I have kept many and they will be cherished. Thank you Uncle Mike!!

I was not as fortunate to have the personal relationship that my sister had, but family is second only to God. "But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace." Wisdom 3:1-3. I pray that all my family and all of Uncle Mike's friends rejoice with me that God has welcomed His beloved back...

My Uncle Mike was a favorite Uncle. I am so happy that we had a chance to reconnect on a relatively recent visit! Uncle Mike was always so kind and welcoming to our family, Steve and Orma Mitchell and us six children. Pictures of Uncle Mike still reside on Mom's refrigerator. Uncle Mike, you will be missed. Our love from Florida!
