Shocked to hear about the loss of Mike. Though I only knew him in grade school, I remember Mike fondly for his humor and his heart of gold. The world will be less brighter without him. Condolences to Kim, Janet and the rest of the family and friends.

I was blessed to witness the wonderful heart Granger had, although it was usually delivered with a lot of banter as Al said (A LOT). :) In the 10+ years, I knew him - we went from colleagues on the golf tournament to a dear friend. My heart goes out to everyone. The world definitely lost a little bit of its brightness when he passed. Hugs to Kim, his family, and his friends (who he'd tell you were his family)

Mike and Shawn were in my Scout troop way back in the day. Good guys and those were good times. Proud that Mike also volunteered as a Union Steward. Sad to see both of these guys are gone. My condolences to all of their family members.

So sad to hear of the passing of Mike. Happy to know that our sons, Mark & Jim were able to have Mike as one of their best friends. A fond memory we have is when Jim has his annual Thanksgiving "Bloody Mary" gathering at our home and the guys would talk baseball and fantasy football. Mike will always be remembered for his love of the Red Sox & Red Sox Nation. RIP Mike
